Objective:

To provide safe and clean drinking water at high-traffic public locations in Maddur, thus improving public health.

Outcome:

Increased access to potable and safe drinking water, thus creating a positive impact on public health and student welfare

Beneficiaries:

Approx. 3000 residents of Maddur town daily

Government High School and College

  • Located in the centre of town
  • Registered students 550 nos
  • Teaching and admin staff: more than 40
  • Parents will visit during admission and examination time

KSTRC Bus Stand: Maddur Town

  • One of the busiest bus stops, as it is on the Bangalore-Mysore highway.
  • More than 2000 passengers, bus drivers and conductors use this facility daily.

Taluka Office: Maddur Town

  • Taluka Office is a government office and is frequented by the general public and more than 3000 farmers daily.

Give Me Trees Trust

Objective:

To restore ecological balance and improve environmental sustainability by maintaining native plantations in Haridwar.

Outcome:

Restoration of land (from barren to fertile), Improvement in the local air quality, Increased carbon sequestered by the planted saplings, Increase in both the species and diversity of birds in the local area, Increase in groundwater levels

Beneficiary:

The local community and environment by improving environmental sustainability.
